We were horrified to hear about the fire at the house of the
Houston Pittie Pack. They lost 5 of their beautiful babies and their house. There is a
Chip-In page for them to help in their recovery. The fund has reached its limit but that was set fairly low. Keep giving what you can. But the most important thing is to give moral support and many many prayers. Please let them know you are thinking of them.

PeeEssWoo: I love your HOWLiday header Handsome!
We have learned that dog bloggers are the kindest and most generous ever! Not an hour goes by that we don't think of Sandra and her family. She remains in our thoughts and prayers.
We're shocked to hear the horrible news about the Houston Pittie Pack.
What a tragedy! What a heartbreak!
We've followed Shelby from the day she was rescued from a parking lot.
We thought she had a happy ending!
We continue to support her and her family, thanks for posting the sad news.
We love you more for your kindness and true friendship to everyone.
It all seems so cruel and senseless that something like this should happen after everything Shelby went through - not forgetting the other pack members.
It's wonderful to see the blogging community pulling together to do what they can to help.
Love and licks, Winnie
Such a terrible tragedy, but how wonderful to see all the good it has brought from the blogging world.
Love that header, River!

From the mom -I want to thank you for being here, following me and commenting on my blog. I had been offline for a few days when I came back and your blog is where I first heard of the tragedy that hit the Houston Pittie Pack. I still have trouble comprehending the horrible nature of this tragedy. I think I am constantly amazed at how the blogging community comes together to not just emotionally support but also being willing to offer their financial support in the face of such tragedy - especially when one hears so much bad about the internet and other social media.
Hope the New Year is kind to you and to River and all the other pack members - human and 4-legged.
