Here is Rosie. She is a beagle mix and is heartworm positive so we'll have her visiting for a long time--it takes 3 months for the treatment. She is a gentle, quiet girl. We play together a lot.

Here are the puppies. On the left is Gayle and the girl on the right is Oprah. They are really good girls, smart and lively. I, myself, do not care for puppies so I don't bother with them but my mom thinks they are fun.

Ha ha, pee-wee bited all the corners of our tables too. Maybe he is part beagle. I think those pups are bringing out the mama in Rosie. I am glad they all have each other to play with.

It must be fun to have some new pups around. Mom says Gayle must be named for Gayle King - she knew her when we lived in CT - Oprah's best friend.

Aroo! Gayle looks just like someone I used to know. What a cutie! I feel for poor Rosie. My Mommy works at a veterinarian's office and she sees lots of heartworm positive dogs. So sad considering its preventable. Don't let the pups torture you too much River!

Good luck to Rosie. My bro had to have that treatment and he said that it was no fun! Mom would never let him play hard or run. Big Pupi got so crazy mad about it one day that he tore up her bed skirt. I hope Rosie has a better time with it.
