We lost Marshmallow

My mom tried. The vet tried but our little girl puppy Marshmallow just faded away. My mom held her to the end and made sure she knew she had been loved in this world. That is why we have not been visiting blogs this week.

We still have the little boy who also has problems but is much stronger and we hope will survive. My mom liked the name Graham suggested by Jan's Funny Farm.

This is sad but it is also very much a part of my mom's rescue. No one can really make up for what these doggies lacked in the past. We just do the best we can here and now. If we lose them then we can plan to all meet up at the Bridge one day.

But more important than anything is that for the short time they had on this Earth, unlike so many stray animals, they were loved.

That is so sad. Little Marshmallow was lucky to be loved for just a short little lifetime.

Marshmallow was very lucky to have you in her life, even if it was only a short time. Because, it's not the amount of time, but how much she was loved. And I know she was loved lots!

Paws crossed for the little boy. Graham is a sweet name.

River, be sure to take good care of your mom. We hope she is feeling better.

Kisses
Addie

Aw, we are so sad to hear about little Marshmallow. But that's what happens sometimes even though we can't understand why. All the best to little Graham for many good healthy days and years ahead.

We are so sorry about Marshmallow. But at least she knew she was loved for the short time she had.

We will be purring for you and your Mom, we know this is upsetting for you both.

Graham sounds like a good name for the remaining pup. JFF is very clever.

We're keeping our paws crossed for Graham. He sounds like a trooper. It is sad about Marshmallow though. Poor little mite.
Your mum does such good work, it must be hard during times like this.

We are so sorry to hear about little Marshmallow. But tell your mum that she's great for all her efforts!

Momma will have a little "conversation" with Tasha tonight and ask her to watch over Marshmallow at the bridge. Tasha always loved puppies.

Oh, poor Marshmallow. Such a short life. But she was loved. Your mom has such a hard job taking care of little ones like her and then losing her. Your mom did a great thing!
