Davoo--12 yrs
Davoo (spelled phonetically for Davout one of Napoleon's generals) was found with his mom under a house. He was hairless, they didn't know what he'd look like. Turned out to be a chocolate beagle. He's small. He's got a Napoleonic complex.
Chocolate Mousse--12 yrs
We found him running down a highway, stopped, opened the car door & he jumped in. He's a beautiful chocolate beagle. He's a wild child.
Petey Sweetie--1997-2015
Hit by a car, badly smashed up, many rescue groups paid to help him, then he needed a special home--that was us! He can walk, run & climb stairs so he's okay now.
Baby--1998-2014
She was pregnant & at a shelter, my mom took her home;she's a very shy, sweet girl. Mom to Bitey and Beau.
Summer 1998-2013
Summer was from a backyard breeder who was throwing the puppies out. My mom got Summer and her sister Boo-Boo. We kept Summer.

Marley is Sis's dog and she lives right down the street so she comes quite often. Mom and Dad told Sis that anytime her and Jason are going out to bring her down.

That's so warm and comforting, River. Frappie also enjoys the sun the most. He even sun bathes and zzzzz under the sun all the time. That great news that the chihuahuas are off to their furever home. We wish them lots of fun and love!

Thank you for sharing your story of Ghillie! What a great name! I'm sorry for you loss. It isn't fair when their life is cut short, but then again I am worried about the kind of attachment I will have with Africa if she hopefully gets to die of old age. HOw awful to say goodbye after so many years. River is the cutest!

Thank you for your comment! I noticed that about the Oct and Nov pix too. If you look closely at all of the pix you can see how the way she sits changes too. I can hardly believe this is happening to her.
