Snow in Ga and a parade

It's cold here in Georgia today and it snowed! Well, not a whole lot, just enough to cover the treadmills....
and the car in the front....

My mom asked if I wanted to go to a local parade. Her friend was one of the judges and we'd be sitting up on the courthouse steps. I thought, on one paw, I'm with my mom, but on the other three paws it was supposed to be 25 degrees! I decided on staying warm this time!

She did see some neat animals like a llama and a mini donkey.

And here is a video of the parade itself. Half the parade was fire engines--a matter of great civic pride in these parts.

Our snow didn't even stick to the ground here in White County.
It sure has been a chilly weekend, huh? Smart pupper to skip the parade.

Ok. This is so not fair. I've seen snow in Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania & West Virginia. I live North of all those places and all we got is rain, rain, rain! Ziggy is soooo depressed...

Or as we used to say, "Ga, snow!" ;-)

You're lucky River! My mom didn't even offer me the opportunity to go to the parade with her. Mean mommy. I would have been good. I promise.

How nice, a Christmas parade. Beautiful floats.

You have already had more snow than we have had - we have none. There is supposed to be some coming tonight, then rain, then more snow. We will believe it when we see it.

Good call, staying warm, River.

Kind of defeats the purpose of living in Georgia if you are going to have snow, doesn't it? You were smart to stay where it was nice and warm. Leave the cold outdoors to those big fuzzy hooved creatures.

We would have voted for staying nice and warm at home too. ~Fenris & Alasandra

We loves it outside so we might have went to the parade with your Mom. Are parades noisy? We don't do noise. ~Socks & Scylla
