Chillin' with a new friend

It's sunny here in north Georgia. We love it. This is a coonhound named Dot who came to visit for a little while. She was rescued long distance by a group in San Diego but needed a place to stay while she heals from heartworm treatment until she can go all the way out to California. You can see me getting to know her in this picture.

She was found at a trash dump, very skinny. Many people worked to save her because she is young, timid and very, very sweet. Someone will have a terrific dog in her!

We're giving each other 'the eye' as we pass each other.

Now she's giving my mom THE EYE bol.

Here is Dot claiming the couch. She says she didn't knock the lamp over. She's right--Davoo did it!

Here we are all sharing the couch. Mousse in back, Sweetie next to me and then Dot.

Hi River
You are very kind sharing your home and your mom with Dot.
We are so glad she was rescued and is being well cared for.
She has the sweetest face and will make someone a wonderful dog.
We liked all your pictures.
love

ps we hired a car to get home as the breakdown lorry wanted us to remain in the car whilst it was being towed.
Well Martha is scared of everything and being towed in the back of the car without our humans would have been very stressful for her!

Looks like you and your Mom and the siblings are taking good care of Dot. Be careful she doesn't decide to stay!
